Sinoxy

Every year, approximately 3 million people suffer cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injury or stroke. While physicians have the knowledge and tools to rehabilitate the heart after such a trauma, rehabilitation methods for treating brain injury do not exist. Sinoxy is developing a portable medical device which can help prevent acquired brain injury in trauma patients through rapid, non-invasive cooling and oxygenation of the brain, thereby effectively preserving brain tissue after the onset of trauma.
