Oiido

Oiido sells and develops a new type of headsets based on patented bone conduction technology. The bone conduction transducer enables the user to communicate without having to cover the ear path ways.

In many production companies, noise and heat are just part of the daily business. What these companies need is a reliable and flexible communication system, so personel can work smoothly and safely. Oiido’s headset is developed especially for these type of working conditions, and can also easily be adapted to the customer’s unique needs and requirements.

The headset is designed to not interfere with safety equipment, such as helmets, face masks, etc. Even in confined spaces or when moving quickly, there is no risk of the headset coming off or being dislodged.

Solution

Oiido Headset

Communication Made Simple

Based on the revolutionary bone conduction technology, the headset does not cover the ears, so users can choose to wear ear plugs if needed. Also, the users can easily remove the ear plugs when talking to someone, without having to remove the communication system at the same time. The simplicity is in the separation of the communication system from the ear protection. This means that users no longer have to wear warm and tightly fitted ear-pieces.

Bone Conduction Speakers

The Balanced Electromagnetic Separation Transducer, or BEST for short, transfers sound as vibrations through skin and bone  directly to the auditory organs, by being positioned directly onto the head. The sound comes out soft and natural at the same frequency range as human speech.

Quality in Focus

The headset from Oiido is the result of 25 years of research and development, and the technology behind it is backed by numerous international patents. The advanced bone conduction speakers combined with the noise-cancelling microphone take secure communication in noisy environments one step further.
