Midorion

Midorion originates from interdisciplinary research at Chalmers and the University of Gothenburg. The cutting-edge technological development has evolved into world leading analytical biosensor technologies for life science applications.

The lab-on-a-chip technology enables medical researchers and pharmaceutical companies to acquire unique information that was previously beyond their reach, in order to make critical diagnoses and create a better understanding of human diseases.

Today, Midorion is focusing on developing biosensor systems for life science research and clinical diagnostics projects within endemic diseases such as Diabetes and Alzheimer.

The technology platform based on electrical micro- and nano- biosensor methods also enables unique utility in a wide range of other biochemical applications.

Impedance Measurement Instrument

Midorion |Z|1 – Impedance Measurement Instrument

The biosensor platform is based on impedance measurement on single use chips. The instrument holds a fluidic system controlling the sample over the sensor chip. The sensor monitors real time molecular interactions displayed by the computer software.

Key features:

  • Superior sensitivity – Very low M and better!
  • Structural information.
  • Small samples volumes - 5-50 μl.
  • Label-free biosensing.
  • Easy chip mounting and assay development.
  • Automatic temperature and flow control.
