EncapsUwaste Receives Funding

EncapsUwaste has received SEK 30 000 in funding from ALMI Invest to help their further their project.

The business developers, Jacqline Jonasson, Johan Lantz and Roberto Mena are very excited about the news and will use the money for further development of their project.

Håkan Krook, CEO of ALMI Invest Väst attended EncapsUwaste's business presentation at Encubator's Business Review earlier this week and was even a part of the panel during their presentation.

EncapsUwaste was recently selected as one of the 13 nominated to compete in the Venture Cup Regional Final out of over 400 competitors and was nominated for the audience's prize but just missed out in the end.

EncapsUwaste, offers a novel process of decontaminating waste streams previously difficult and expensive to handle, such as paint and ink waste. The patented and proven method effectively encapsulates environmentally harmful toxins and heavy metals in a safe and cost efficient way, leaving nothing but a leach proof and inert powder which can be reused in for instance concrete production.
