Lamera's product, Hybrix, is a composite material which is suitable for the aircraft and car industries. The Hybrix is described as a micro sandwich technology with a unique feature of being air filled and at the same time as thin and formable as solid sheet metal.
The material is extremely light in weight and is therefore great for the aircraft industry to be used in seats, interior decoration, trolleys as well as within the car industry. By using Lamera's material in aircrafts, it can decrease the weight of an aircraft to half of it's original weight. The decrease in weight, also decreases the fuel consumption and will therefore help the environment.
