Portfolio companies, Denator and Lumina Adhesives have been named two of the years hottest and most interesting companies within engineering in Sweden.
Every year for three years, NyTeknik and Affärsvärlden assemble a list of the 33 hottest engineering companies in Sweden. By being named as one of the hottest companies of the year means much more attention and awareness to the companies and a larger chance to show their products and technology to potential customers and investors.
The list is put together by the editors at the newspapers, who follow the following criteria:
- Have developed a unique product from an innovative idea
- Have international potential and have potential to improve their respective industry
- The company has to be based in Sweden
- Maximum of seven years old
- The company may not be listed on the stock exchange
The two companies from Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship attended an afternoon at Berns Salonger in Stockholm on Tuesday and had the opportunity to present their company personally and with a two-minute video. The portfolio company, Arterion, from Göteborg International Bioscience Business School was one of the hottest companies on the 2008 list and since then they have seen major improvements.
Denator provides products that stabilize biological samples in order to enhance the quality and value of analytical results.
