CleanSense has filled up the entire page 44 in today's paper-copy of the Gothenburg local paper, Göteborgs-Posten.
The article on page 44 of Göteborgs Posten, describes, in detail, about CleanSense's technology and how it can change everything from cancer treatment to effective solar cells. The article also mentions who is a part of the project, entrepreneurs Kristoffer Gustafsson and Jonas Odéhn, one of the world leading scientists within nano technology, Bengt Kasemo as well as scientists Igor Zoric, Elin Larsson and Christoph Langhammer.
One of CleanSense's business developers, Kristoffer Gustafsson, explains how they have received a good response from important clients and hope to start selling the first instruments at the beginning of 2011. He continues, "Sweden is not a big market so we have been focusing on the global market from the beginning. The goal in five years is to grow to 15-20 employees and to annually sell 50 instruments".
CleanSense is one of Encubator's start-up projects. CleanSense develops instruments for researchers in the area of surface science. The researchers can, by using CleanSense’s instruments, receive unique information on nanomaterial characteristics. This information opens up for great improvements within the development of areas such as catalysis, batteries and solar cells.
Encubator's portfolio companies Arterion, Capeco, and Syspiro Diagnostics were also mentioned in today's Göteborgs Posten on page 43.
Insplorion develops instruments for research departments in the area of nanotechnology and general surface science.
