Opportunity to perform diploma work at Arterion is available during spring of 2010.
Project will include bioreactor design for bacterial cellulose production. Evaluation will be performed using standard microbiology methods such as proliferation studies and yield measurements but analysis of biomaterial characteristics using SEM and biomechanical testing are possible complements. The successful candidate is challenged to suggest her/his own suggestion to study design!
Background in biotechnology, microbiology, or applicable design projects refelect suitable experience but are not absolute necessary. Creativity is a winning criteria!
