SKAPA-priset is the number one prize for inventors. The prize is given to notice and reward technical and industrial innovations in western sweden. As one of the two winners of this years prize, Tenroc Technologies will have the chance to win the national prize of SEK 500 000. The finals will take place in October.
The motivation from the jury (in swedish):
"Pristagarna har utvecklat metoder kring förstärkning med komposita material till bärande konstruktioner, såsom broar, parkeringsdäck etc. Dessutom kan metoden användas som en reparationsåtgärd för att stoppa eller fördröja tillväxten av existerande utmattningssprickor. Produkten innebär minskad materialåtgång och har en global potential".
