4 out of the 10 awarded business ideas in Venture Cup West comes from Encubator and Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship
329 businesses ideas competed and yesterday night the jury appointed the 10 best ones during a crowded ceremony at Lindholmen Conference Center. The four winning Encubator innovation projects were Cryptango, Edvirt, Flocazur and Panelito who all won 10 000 SEK each. On top of that Flocazur was appointed and rewarded for having the best food and health business idea.
Minesto expands with major injection and site lease from The Crown Estate
In October The Crown Estate announced that Minesto has been granted a lease agreement for seabed in Northern Ireland. At the same time, Minesto is expanding with 16 new employees, and the aim is to further develop its technology for commercialisation. This expansion has been made possible after the owners injected new capital into the company and the Swedish Energy Agency granted the company £0.5M for R&D operations.
Alusera – Winner of Venture Cup West!
Encubator’s project Alusera brought home victory when the regional final of Venture Cup West was settled Thursday night. According to the jury, Alusera had the best business plan of the 342 contestants that participated in the Venture Cup West competition. In addition to a place in the Sweden Finals, Alusera was awarded a prize sum of 200 000 SEK.
