Why Encubator

Encubator has experience in realizing ideas with a wide variety of sources including industrial actors, scientists as well as private inventors. Every year, over 100 innovative ideas are screened and those with the highest potential, quality and value to society will pass into the entrepreneurial and educational incubator.

In collaboration with Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) and Göteborg International Bioscience Business School (GIBBS), Encubator provides students with a prime research utilization environment. Together with you, as idea providers, we work hard to improve society by forming ventures, creating jobs and taking new exciting technologies to the market. 

Encubator's model has proven to be very successful and the first step in the model, which is demonstrated in the diagram above, is for Encubator to recruit ideas from different sources and pair them up with students from the Masters program in Entrepreneurship at CSE and GIBBS. The students and the project ideas are then moved in to Encubator's incubator to start develop their business projects. Encubator supports the projects with seed capital, business network and coaching. After a year in the incubator, these projects start to develop in to a portfolio company. The synergy between top entrepreneur students, researchers and our incubation environment paired with award-winning leadership- and IP management education has resulted in a spinout of a total of 35 existing companies. Encubator has 13 years of experience in venture creation in a broad variety of fields such as Cleantech, Sensor Technology, Material Technology, Pharmaceuticals, ICT, Bio- and Medtech.  The charts below show the expansion of the variety of fields of our companies five years ago, compared to today.
