Encubator would not be possible without the close collaboration with Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship (CSE) and Göteborg International Bioscience Business School (GIBBS) to create ventures from ideas.
CSE and GIBBS provide the educational platform of entrepreneurs who develop innovative ideas into successful ventures within the operations of Encubator. CSE focuses on technology venture creation, while GIBBS focuses on exclusively biotech and medtech creation.
During the two years of the Masters program, the students are taught necessary entrepreneurial skills such as marketing, organization and management, intellectual property, strategy, and finance. The projects run at Encubator are an integrated part of CSE and GIBBS where educational development leads to project development. All students at CSE and GIBBS are carefully selected through a three-step admission process which includes essays and interviews. During the first year of the education, the students are also offered the opportunity to run a social entrepreneurship project, which provides them with unique experiences to further support their entrepreneurial development.
As a result of several years of experience and the carefully crafted admissions process, CSE and GIBBS have graduated more than 240 students who have either continued their innovation projects or been highly sought after by the labor market.
