Mats is a co-founder of both CSE in 1997 and GIBBS in 2005. Mats holds a MSc and a PhD from Chalmers. He is heavily involved in building university-based innovation system, both locally, regionally, nationally, and even internationally, sitting on the boards of various companies, incubators, development organizations and programs. Mats is also often called upon as an expert speaker in innovation and venture development.
Boo has 30 years professional experience from biomedical innovations, in everything from basic research to clinical research and international marketing. Boo has co-developed product life cycle management i.e. the innovation principles between research, intellectual assets, incubation and time in market. He is engaged in entrepreneurial activities, as board director, chairman of the board in a regional organization and co-founder several companies as well as GIBBS. Boo has a doctoral degree in Clinical Pharmacology.
Ingvar is the CEO Chalmersinvest since 1998, and he has 20 years experience of developing and investing in young companies, as well as other forms of commercializing research results. Ingvar has 6 years of experience in managerial positions in large multinational companies, in R&D, design, business and product development. He is a member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences and he has a PhD in mechanical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology.
Iréne holds an MBA from the School of Business, Economics, and Law at University of Gothenburg and has experience from both listed companies and startups and is presently CFO at Santa Maria Group. Before joining Santa Maria, Iréne worked for nearly 12 years at the private equity company Bure, within several different positions. While at Bure, she was involved in the development phases of companies from the acquisition to IPO-processes or exits.
Linnéa has, after graduating from CSE in 2001, worked 1,5 years at Layerlab, a biotech company from CSE 2002. Linnea is currently working at Chalmers Innovation with coaching in new ventures. Besides coaching she is also responsible for the marketing at Chalmers Innovation. She wants to focus on the early stages of idea development and works therefore close to researchers at Chalmers to identify which technology that has business potential.
Olle is an lawyer and Partner of Advokatfirman Vinge. Olle has been with Advokatfirman Vinge, one of the largest commercial law firms in Scandinavia, since 1988. Olle started to work at Vinge’s London office and he came to the Gothenburg office in 1990 and became partner in 1996. He has extensive experience from general corporate business law and is also serving as a board member in various companies.
As an Investment Manager at InnovationsKapital, an organization managing 320 MEUR in four funds. Johan has led and negotiated a number of deals in different stages and localities, including deals in all the Nordic countries as well as in the US. He currently serves on the board of directors of Santosolve A/S (NO) and Ludesi AB (SE) and is actively engaged in several other portfolio companies of InnovationsKapital. Johan is a graduate of the CSE class of 1999.
